 God's Arms Reaching Out |
| |
| | Headed by Practitioners Karen Jones and Patti Justus, the primary purpose of the Pastoral Care Ministry is to provide spiritual nourishment to members of OneSpirit and their family during times of difficulty. If you are experiencing health challenges, the Pastoral Care Team is here to support you spiritually, emotionally and physically. Our areas of service include Home/Hospital visits; cards and/or telephone calls from many members of our team; availability of books and tapes from the OneSpirit lending library; availability of community resources as referrals; and, meals on a temporary basis, as needed. |
| | The Pastoral Care Ministry Team meets on the 4th Saturday of each month in the Church classroom from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Attendance at the meeting is encouraged, but not mandatory. If you are interested in participating in the Pastoral Care Ministry Team and performing SEVA (Selfless Sacred Service), we invite you to share the gift of who you are by being part of this Service Team. You can participate in the form of personal visits, sending cards, delivering books or helping to provide meals. All that is necessary is an open heart desirous of helping others. The rewards are incalculable for both the giver and the receiver. |
| | Please feel free to contact either Karen Jones or Patti Justus for more information regarding how you might become a part of the Pastoral Care Ministry. |
