ANDY HOWE
Andy Howe is an extremely talented man whose work spans multiple decades working with some of the most talented performers our country has ever produced. From 1975-1979, Andy was accompanist and musical director for Debbie Reynolds, conducting her Las Vegas act, acting as assistant conductor of "Annie Get Your Gun", and traveling extensively with her as she performed.
After leaving Debbie Reynolds, Andy toured with Deniece Williams both in the United States and abroad. In addition to Ms. Williams, he also worked with such notables as Yma Sumac, Kenny Rankin, Willie Bobo, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Ed Ames. Andy's television credits include a Bob Hope Special, Liberace Special, Sonny & Cher, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Dinah Shore and a Jerry Lewis Telethon, as well as lending his musical talents to an AFI Tribute to Jimmy Stewart.
More recently, Andy has worked extensively in his own studio, recording such projects as Barbara McNair's last album. In 2004, he was the musical director/producer of a tribute to Leiber and Stoller and in 2005-2006, in addition to joining the OneSpirit Band, he played a 52 week Tuesday night engagement at the Catalina Bar and Grill, featuring various jazz artists including Marilyn King, Barbara McNair and Linda Hopkins.
In 2006, Andy performed with Ed Ames for a PBS Special and played at a children's charity function in Paris, France.
Starting 2007 on a high note, Andy was inducted into the Minnesota Rock and Country Hall of Fame. In addition to being the Music Director for OneSpirit, Andy also is the Musical Director for Vicki Carr and recently returned from a sold-out engagement in Monterrey, Mexico.
