We believe that by serving others selflessly, without attachment or reward, we are also serving God. We refer to this as "SEVA", a word that comes from the ancient spiritual language Sanskrit meaning "Selfless Service Dedicated to God". We believe that one of the reasons we are here is to make a difference-to leave our world a better place than when we arrived. There are endless ways to make a positive difference in the world. It begins the moment we remember we are serving God with our actions. How we choose to do this as individuals and as a spiritual community then becomes our SEVA, our purpose and, in part, our mission in life. Sharing your time in serving OneSpirit or elsewhere in the community with an attitude of SEVA furthers the vision of OneSpirit:
"Expanding the Awareness of God's Presence in All"

One of the great joys of SEVA is the fellowship that emerges with like-minded people, getting to know one another as you participate in Selfless Service Dedicated to God.
